Welcome to Heathrow BabyGear & Mobility Rental Services. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and rental services. By using our website, booking a rental, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in full, please do not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

  • Customer / You / Your — The person or entity who uses our website or rents equipment from us.
  • Services — Rental of baby gear, mobility equipment, and related services offered via our website or otherwise.
  • Equipment / Products — Baby gear, mobility aids, and any other items rented or supplied.
  • Order / Rental Agreement — The agreement between us and you for renting equipment.
  • Website — The Heathrow BabyGear website and all associated pages, functions, content, and subdomains.

2. Use of the Website & Acceptance

  1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to enter into a rental agreement.
  2. You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use.
  3. We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse.

3. Prices, Payment & Rental Periods

Rental agreement

The customer acknowledges that all items are subject to change under exceptional circumstances such as damage, soilage or suitability of product for intended age.

  1. Rental prices will be displayed on the Website or quoted to you, inclusive/exclusive of taxes as specified.
  2. You will be required to pay a deposit or security amount (if applicable) prior to delivery or pick-up.
  3. Full payment (or the rental fee for the selected period) must be made before the rental period begins.
  4. The rental period begins at the time we deliver (or you pick up) the equipment and ends when the equipment is returned to us (or we collect it), subject to any agreed extension.
  5. Late returns may incur additional charges, at a rate determined by us (e.g. daily rate).
  6. You remain liable for all charges until the equipment is returned and inspected.

4. Delivery, Pick-up & Return

  1. We will deliver or arrange delivery of the equipment to the address you provide, on the date/time agreed.
  2. You must inspect the equipment upon delivery and notify us immediately of any visible damage or defects.
  3. At the end of the rental period, you must return the equipment to us (or allow us to collect it) in the same condition (except for reasonable wear and tear).
  4. If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair (excluding normal wear and tear), you will be responsible for replacement or repair costs.

5. Use & Maintenance

  1. You agree to use the equipment in a safe manner, in accordance with its instructions and applicable laws/regulations.
  2. You shall not make any unauthorized modifications to equipment.
  3. You are responsible for routine cleaning and maintenance as per instructions.
  4. You must not sub‑rent, transfer, or lend the equipment to third parties without our written consent.

6. Liability & Indemnity

  1. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, mobile, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the equipment or services.
  2. Our total liability (in contract, tort, or otherwise) for direct damages shall be limited to the amount you paid for the rental in question.
  3. You indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or losses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the equipment, breach of these Terms, or third‑party claims.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

  1. At Heathrow Baby Gear, we understand that plans can change. We strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring fairness for both our customers and our Quality Providers.

    Standard Cancellations

    • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery may be subject to a partial refund or credit, depending on the circumstances and preparation already completed.

    • Once items have been delivered or are en route, cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

    Early Returns

    If you choose to return your rental items before the end of your rental period, we are unable to offer a refund for unused days.

    No-Shows

    If delivery cannot be completed due to the customer being unavailable at the agreed-upon time and location, the order may be considered a no-show and may not qualify for a refund.

    Changes to Your Booking

    We’re happy to accommodate reasonable changes to your booking (such as delivery times or item substitutions) whenever possible. Please contact us as soon as possible to make adjustments.

    Updates to This Policy

    Heathrow Baby Gear may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version that applies to your order will be the one in effect at the time your booking was placed.

8. Data, Privacy & Cookies

  1. We collect and use personal data as per our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
  2. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, analyze use, and provide personalized services.
  3. By using our Website, you consent to our cookie policy and data practices.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, images, and materials on the Website are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use them without our prior written permission.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if such delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, war, government actions).

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised version on the Website with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of United kingdon.
  2. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration / in courts / mediation in London.
  3. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of courts / arbitrator in London.

13. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck out or modified, and the remaining Terms shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a right under these Terms does not waive that right.
