Meet The Founder

Hello! I’m Shazia, a proud mom of a curious 4 year old and wild 2 year old. With over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, I’ve always had a deep passion for travel. This passion grew even stronger after having my children, as I quickly realised the challenges of traveling with little ones.This firsthand experience inspired me to create Heathrow Babygear, with the mission to provide high quality, convenient products for families visiting London. Over time, our offerings expanded beyond baby gear to include mobility and medical equipment rentals; always keeping the needs of families and travelers at the forefront.

My family and I travelled to the UK for the first time and realized right before our trip that we didn't account for how we would travel around safely with our four year old. I then came across babonbo and after a short search came across Heathrow BabyGear. It was the perfect fit for us. They had the car seat we needed and were willing to make delivery to us so easy. Heathrow Babygear met with us at our car rental location and the drop off was quick and smooth. Communication from start to finish was quick and helpful and the car seat itself was in amazing shape. After 10 days of use we were met again at our car rental location for drop off and again the communication and return were made so easy and seamless for us.

Outstanding and Warm-hearted Service! We rented a stroller and received truly exceptional full-service! The couple was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating-definitely a 10/10 experience. When we realized upon arriving in London that we also needed a baby car seat, they swiftly delivered it to our hotel the very next day. Their driver even kindly picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel, treating it as a completely natural courtesy. Despite having different pick-up locations for the stroller and car seat, they handled everything seamlessly. I can't thank you enough for making our London trip perfect—| wholeheartedly recommend your service!

They had exactly the item that we needed (in great condition - our 2YO was able to sleep very well in the stroller), and we were able to book it right before we landed at Heathrow. Even when I mixed up my travel dates/timings, they were very helpful in adjusting the reservation to accommodate our very last minute requests. For anyone traveling to/from Heathrow by car, the location is also super convenient as the detour takes hardly any additional time.
